Christian Bale was arrested yesterday after turning himself in for allegedly assaulting family members.
His 61-year-old mother, Jenny, and 40-year-old sister, Sharon, made the allegations after an apparent incident in a London hotel room, the night before the European Premier of "The Dark Knight."
Bale was released on bail after spending about four hours in custody. A statement was released by his lawyers:
