Brad Pitt on the Feb. Cover of W Magazine

January 7th 2009 15:16
A very mature looking Brad Pitt graces the February cover of W Magazine, and his well weathered visage is creating a bit of a buzz.

Some are saying that the star is looking too old, and perhaps has lost some of his sizzle.

Beta Girl begs to differ. I believe that these new pics are very handsome indeed and show a classic leading man who has grown up and aged to perfection!

Not only is Mr. Pitt attractive, but he has earned the respect of his peers. In a recent interview, British film director Guy Ritchie refers to Pitt as a "Diamond Geezer" which apparently means he's a swell fella, in Brit speak.

The full quote, according to New! Magazine:

"Brad is a diamond geezer (great guy) and a real gent because, even though he's famous, he doesn't take himself too seriously and doesn't have any of that 'I'm a Hollywood star' thing about him.

"He did a brilliant job on Snatch and was one of the lads from the start. He even made cups of tea for all the punters (crew) on set! But then Vinnie did get him in a headlock on the first day, showed him who was boss and straightened him out - so that might have had something to do with it."

Great pics! The only problem I have with them is he looks overly tanned, his skin just looks too dark.

I much prefer a man to look like a man so the Leo's and the Matt Damon's of the world have never appealed to me looks wise. The Hugh Jackman look is more to my taste. I think Brad looks great. Do they expect him to look like a 30 year old his whole life? Geez harsh... and I thought they were tough on the women.

But I have to add, he has a truly shocking haircut.

I agree with Cheryl J. He looks like a man, not a baby. Very handsome.
